Lets face it folks; it’s a pretty depressing time to be a conservative/republican/right-winger.  It’s pretty obvious that John McCain is going to lose and Barack Obama and the Democrats will have almost complete control over the Executive and Legislative branches.  Socialism will be established throughout the land and capitalism and prosperity will disappear. In four years we won’t be known as the United States of America, but the Democratic People’s Republic of America.

But there is a ray of hope.  According to this wonderful article published today in the Washington Post, conservatives have much to celebrate.  This may not be a shock to many of us, but conservatives are generally happier than our liberal counterparts: (more…)

Join the movement!

I just graduated from George Mason University, Cum Laude, with a B.A. in Global Affairs and a minor in business.  I was the Treasurer for the Filipino Cultural Association, established an on campus chapter of a non-profit group called Liberty in North Korea, and I interned at the American Enterprise Institute, one of the most influential think tanks in D.C. I’m supporting McCain/Palin.  There smarty pants!

With my growing pessimism over whether or not Gov. Palin really was
a good choice for McCain’s VP, I need something to remind me why I’ve
been gunning for her to be Sen. McCain’s pick for months.  I’m sure you
do too. So without further ado, an oldie but a goodie.

I love the Former Speaker; one the most down to earth people I’ve
ever met.  Let’s not forget that he was once one of  the most powerful
people in the world.  An intellectual giant; I trust his judgment over
most of the pundits out there.  I just wish Sarah would prove him
right!  Oh lordy, let’s hope a miracle happens this Thursday when she’s
debating Biden! Newt, please please please help her out with her
debating skills!

McCain strikes back against the pretentious, know-it-all celebrity who thinks she can do his job.  This is when SNL used to be funny (although Tina Fey’s performance as Govenor Palin was hilarious).

Hello All,

Another new tradition is being started here at the Stellar Anomaly.  Whenever you’re feeling down or you’re stressed out at work, check on the Weekly Pick Up to give you that little boost you need to get through your day.  This week’s pick up has been around for a while, but it’s still a fun one.  And since this is a political blog, I found it highly appropriate.  Enjoy!
